The beauty of the Gibson Custom Shop 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Darkback Reissue Electric Guitar will make your jaw drop. Nearly black finish on the mahogany guitar back. All the glowing vintage beauty of the deep metal-flake gold top with the thick, gorgeous tone of "Patent Applied For" humbuckers the first year they came out. Now called BurstBuckers (a 1 at the neck and a 2 at the bridge), they're joined to the original CTS pots and bumble bee caps for totally authentic Les Paul tone. Early '50s rounded neck profile provides vintage Gibson feel, too.
